I know the Honors notification period doesn’t end until 13 April, so are they just doing rolling notification for those that applied? Haven’t heard anything back yet.
I haven’t heard either, I’m really nervous about it!! Does that mean I’m probably rejected??
@Yikesmcgee that’s exactly what I thought at first too :(. I haven’t heard of anyone being rejected yet, at least from everyone I’ve asked at my school. I hope we both get in soon!!

Can I ask what kinds of things were added to the appeal that weren’t in the original submission?

I applied to neuroscience this year. Should I be getting a email notification during this time? One of my friends apparently got their decision, but I’ve heard nothing for me.

My friend got theirs 2-3 days ago apparently…
FYI three students from my daughter’s school got in this year on appeal, so always worth appealing.
He submitted his transcripts, got a recommendation letter from his principal, and wrote a compelling appeal essay. Ironically, we got notice early this week he got a presidential scholarship to the school. I’m thinking they just made a mistake initially. My son also go into UC Berkeley and UC San Diego. Just happy I no longer have to deal with out of state tuition.
@collegeboundmamma They sent him an email, then the portal updated. He got his letter last Friday and notified about his scholarship on Monday.
How do you know if you were accepted into the honors program? Do you have to apply with your application?
@ejaneb honors admissions decisions are sent via email and yes, the application for honors is inside the application for UW
