They finally updated the site though, the waitlist option is gone. The final wait has arrived.

Accepted my waitlist the second week of April and got my email last night stating that my new admission decision was posted… I was accepted!!!

Congratulations wonderstruck!!!
Anybody else get accepted off waitlist??

Congrats as well wonderstruckk!

I am anxiously waiting as well… :(

where do you check?

U check on the regular decision site. Wonderstruckk, r u joking?

UCLA’s Waitlist FAQ list says that they will email you to check your application status if it has indeed been updated with an acceptance, which is why I have been checking my personal email every hour…

Ya, they’ll send an email with the subject ‘UCLA Decision Status.’ In my email, it said that a decision had been made regarding my UCLA admission and stated that I would have until May 1, 11:59 PDT to respond. I heard they are doing rolling notifications for the waitlist now so definitely keep checking!

Bunch of BS… give us some proof. UCLA clearly stated that they will notify people after May 1st. Today is not even May 1st. Nice try ■■■■■.

^maybe wonderstruckk isn’t lying. Can’t say specifically for LA since this is the first year with a waitlist, but I know at other schools they say May 1st but some people get notified early. A buddy of mine appealed to UCSB when he got waitlisted, and heard back from them about a week before the SIR deadline.

I highly doubt they’ve accepted anyone off the waitlist yet, or we woulda heard from more than one person.

Status in ‘red’ updated for m son
they are doing rolling notifications for the waitlist now so continue to check. You will also receive e-mail regarding the decision

Gosh Lob City that is harsh!
Why are you so suspicious?
Wonderstruck couldn’t make all that up. I congratulate him/her and hope I get the same message:)

It would make sense that some have already have gotten in considering that people have denied their admissions to ucla earlier even before the SIR date. So that makes room for others faster.

Hey, I think this is a good sign!
UCLA said they might not have ANY openings and now they are promising rolling admissions from waitlist!!

So they have already started making decisions then? Can someone who’s accepted now post what the email looks like? I’m dying for an email from UCLA… :

Lol. That guy has 2 posts and made an account april 2012. Aint believing that. Ducktales.

Anyway, May 2nd already. 28 more days to go!
