might be. I’ve actually done lot of research and seen many threads from previous years. for washu ed, I haven’t really seen too many rejections most were deferred. for cc especially, around half the people that post get accepted ed and half deferred. but this really doesn’t mean anything cause its just a very very small sample size from people on cc. anyone know what the ed applicant pool is this year? past years I’ve heard 1500-2000?

Washu’s Early decision is not really that high. I asked the admission’s office for washu and they told me that their early admission rate is about 10% higher than regular decision… so there is not really much of a difference.

If the decisions were to come out today, would they be posted at 5 PM CT?

They won’t necessarily release them right at 5pm. They’ll probably just release them when they’re ready. But all times are Central time, yes.

I emailed them. The admission officer said that they do best for us to get the mail by the 15th and they usually post it online when they mail it. In past years it was before the 15th and they are trying their best to make it like that this year. I’m praying that it is released today.

Stop. Calling. And. Emailing. Them.

Seriously guys…calling and/or emailing them to no end will only annoy them. They’re doing their best. Good luck to everyone, if we hear back tonight or not!

I’m sure that constantly calling and e-mailing them is only going to make our wait to find out longer.

I wasn’t constantly emailing them. I’ve been emailing my ao for a while about different things and just asked out of curiosity

They won’t necessarily be released at 5 pm CT, but they will be released before 5 pm CT if they are released at all today. The admissions office closes at 5.

That’s not true. They close at 5 on normal days.

Yes I’d say that days they release decisions are certainly not normal days.

So…wait is it today?

Well, if anyone hears anything, you should post it on here so the rest of us can know if it’s going to happen today or next week.

Someone on this thread posted earlier that when they transfer decisions to WUSTL pathway the site slows down, displays random lines or code, and sometimes crashes. If anyone sees a sign of this it could mean they are posting decisions.

I have not seen anything of the sort yet.

Me neither. But I’d think if they do post decisions today it’ll be later, probably 5 PM CT at the earliest

Guys, there isn’t anything that can be done to predict when they release decisions so let’s all try to relax, and we’ll find out soon enough.
On another note, how does everyone think they’ll check their status? With your family? Alone? Cover the screen and slowly peek through your fingers?

Haha, I haven’t decided yet. I really just want to know one way or the other at this point, so I’ll probably just look at it as soon as I get the opportunity to. I hope so badly that I get in, but if I don’t, then it’s at least one less thing to think about.

Ok guys help me with this. I have to make a speech at 7. Should I look before or no. I feel like I shouldn’t haha.
