Official Yale 2009 Transfers!

just got my pseudodecision/rejection through an email and some stats

18/800 accepted 2.5% admissions rate.

have fun waiting everybody

Hi tiredof

How did you get this information? Is this applicable to this year’s transfers? And Sherlock, I am posting encouraging comments not with the intention of dramatizing the Yale app process. I’m posting these comments to change the norms. Correct me if I’m wrong, but people have been applying to Yale with the mindset that they would get deferred. This is our chance to change that. We can be the new generation of applicants that apply with a contrasting mindset. That is why I’m trying to encourage everybody.

Sincerely,
TransferAccepted

I got it via a reliable source because of a predicament unique to me. I promise the source is extremely legitimate.

did the prediction said you got in?

are you serious…

dont worry guys all will be well, decisions would come out at the right time. next week seems like a reasonable time to me

hah no, but thanks for asking

2.5% wow! one of us could be in that group of 18, or else with the group of 800…

hahahah exactly

18/800=2.25%

that is insaneeee amazing people the ones who get in!!!
good luck

hey guys

Whatever the case is, please don’t give up yet. You should not count yourselves out of the lucky 18. Remember, once hope is present, anything is possible. You are all amazing in character. Show some animation in yourselves and welcome the following week with hope and courage.

Sincerely,
TransferAccepted

Lets forget about those number and rejoice that in few days this pain will be over and we will all know our fate. Which hopefully it will be good to all (acceptance or rejection) I am a firm believer in EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON! You may not see why now, but u will see some other day. Is all about Patience! <—Something that I must admit I lack lol

Here’s what gives me hope. If I actually know that I’m good enough (in terms of grades, experience, motivation, etc) to apply for for Yale, then I know that I could probably get into most schools. Yale is just how we set our standard; that is, aiming for the best.

If we don’t give up, anything is possible. We can all get into Yale. We have the goods, so lets hope that Yale will appreciate those values. I wish for acceptance letters for all.

Hey guys, is there any possibility for this situation: Admission will be canceled when my this semetser grade turns out to be like: A, A-, B+, B+? Of course I should be included in those glorious 18 first but I am just a bit worried about my grades for spring term.

seeing what just happened to me for columbia, this process is really insane. cant wait to get my decision.

Alright Columbia results are out, Dartmouth too. When do you guys expect Yale’s to be out? Monday? Tuesday?..or Thursday?

Sometime around Wednesday to Friday, I will hopefully get admitted too Yale.

any junior transfer?
