@stabatmater: Cool! I love Brown; it’s an amazing school. I’ve visited so many campuses throughout the year, both in the West and East coast, and I’ve never seen such an active, happy, and diverse campus as Brown. It’s a perfect fit for me, though Yale was my number 1 choice. I’d still consider it (granted if I’m accepted which I do not expect). If you’re accepted to Yale, which college would you choose?

@Rush10: I’m from California, too! Thank you. Really? I’m surprised. I’m starting to think that the admissions process also consists of some luck. I have a friend who was accepted to all the Ivies she applied to (she’s going to Harvard) but Stanford rejected her, and another friend was accepted to Stanford & Brown but Pomona and Pitzer wait listed her o_o

@Ensueno Yale is the dream, so in the off chance that I get a call, I will probably go. I’m also on the wait list at Harvard, which adds to the anxiety. But yeah, Brown is super awesome. I just wish I had some closure on this process, so I could enjoy it.

Got admitted off of the wait list yesterday. Got a call around noon. The number was from boston so watch out for non Connecticut caller id’s. The lady told me that they can call on any day, including weekends. Financial aid and all of the other paperwork come in monday, so excited. I’m a student from Florida if anybody is curious

@stabatmater: Good luck! I heard Harvard was offering a number of spots. Yeah if I got to chance to go to Yale, I would, because I would take the acceptance as a sign. I too want closure, since Yale after all was my top choice. Haha I was offered a wait list spot for Stanford also but they didn’t accept anyone.

@Hpina2: Congratulations!!! Woot! Thank you for the information! It is much appreciated. I’ll be on the look out :)

Planning on studying political science and international relations.

@ensueno: harvard starts calling their people next week around Wednesday. They also announced that they’re only taking 25 people. I’m also awaiting their decision

Hey, I am also a waitlistee at Yale. I have a question: any internationals here? If so, are those any of the accepted? Because I might expect that they’d call us earlier than you guys since we have other stuff to go through like visas etc. Oh well, we’ll see.

@detoidi: my friend who is also wait listed called and that’s what he was told. They said they’d probably call the first batch of students next week

@James and @Vless - I’m international too. Haven’t been called either. Perhaps they’re doing internationals later, or perhaps none of us are off the waitlist (yet?) :P

I’m also an international; I’m from Vietnam. Well, no calls or emails so far. Generally I think the chances are slimmer for us since Yale has a hard cap for internationals (~100-120 I think)

I’m an international and I received a phone call from New Haven last night, although I was sleeping and didn’t know about it until now. I haven’t confirmed yet though and will either call back when they are up or wait for another call.

Funnily enough, I’m also a Brown commit and have no idea what I’m going to do now.
