nztony, are you a URM? I’m not saying SATs are everything but a likely for a 2150 applicant seems pretty weird.

Bilguun, what do you mean you didn’t send your Lit score? I believe Columbia requires all scores?

@Hanadala92 I’m assuming you applied to SEAS? (Columbia)

@ nztony

Yes. Hard copy will be sent by mail.

aw I’m sorry but that was a slaughter this year, so you shouldnt feel too bad
I got deferred from yale…but I feel like I’ve already told you that

I didn’t even get a likely from UVA, which I thought I would get one from

@powerbomb
I took the Literature test after I finished applying to Columbia.

to all those who got likelies: CONGRATS! XD
for all those who didn’t get likelies: fingers crossed
to all those who got rejections: there loss not yours (been doing stat reading for a while!)

has anyone ever heard of an intl student asking for full aid getting a likely letter??
(silly question because it would be impossible to get admission in the first place =( . still can’t stop hoping…)

@motshokonna
I need a full ride and I got an LL.

@Bilguun: CONGRATS! i don’t feel so good about myself however!
did Columbia announce any particular date on which we should be expecting the decisions??

@motoshokonna i believe its the 30th or 31st

I got a LL, in it it was stated that decisions come out on the 31st.

Got my likely letter on the 17th!

I’m flabbergasted because I in no way thought I was going to get into Columbia, and treated their application rather facetiously… I guess they liked my sarcasm?

@djdopeslap: Congrats! XD
i was trying to evaluate the odds of of a likely. does anyone know how many applicants are there this year? and how many were sent likely letters??

Correction, guys: Columbia’s decisions are released online on April 1, just like the rest of the Ivies.

I never gave my Midyear Report to my counselor. Does Columbia email it? They haven’t contacted me about it or anything.

^you probably need to mail it and/or fax it- I think you had to give it to your counselor? You might want to call Columbia right away and explain your situation and see what they say.

i guess likely letter season is officially over then. right?

to whoever asked,
i’m an international who applied for fin aid (pretty much full ride) and i got a likely

But Columbia is need-blind to Canadians.

@bluewatermelon: I think you’re right. Decisions are just around the corner.
