Brady Hoke is a DMW. David Brandon needs to polish up his resume too, he needs to be fired! I seriously doubt that Michigan will win another game this year. Yes, they are that bad!

Michigan is getting humiliated by Minnesota. This is beyond pathetic. No more excuses. Hoke has to go…NOW! It won’t happen, but it needs to. I don’t care if every recruit jumps ship. This season is lost. The program has no direction, no fire, nothing!

The announcers think it’s “ludicrous” if Hoke is let go after this season?! What on earth?

Someone explain this to me.

He should be let go following this game!

You know… I could almost put everything else aside BUT- what on EARTH was he thinking when he left Morris in? He couldn’t even stand. That was absolutely sickening to watch.

Did I miss something with that? MGoBlog seems to agree with me…

Exactly why he should be fired immediately! It was obvious to the entire planet that poor Morris was hurting badly. Hoke had no business playing him as long as he did! He is, without a doubt, way over his head coaching at this level.

Yeah… Hoke should be fired for allowing Morris to stagger around on the field like that. And then when he had to go back in after the helmet loss – how was the next quarterback not ready to go? He couldn’t find his helmet on the sidelines… Minnesota has been on the rise under Jerry Kill – I actually don’t begrudge them the win. But Hoke showed he was inept in that whole situation with Morris.

I didn’t have the stomach to watch the post-game talk, but apparently he said he didn’t notice Morris was hurt?! UH?! What, exactly, does he DO on the sidelines then? The entire stadium noticed he was hurt.

Ok, I can understand not seeing some player not necessarily involved in the play being involved in a weird slide or falling funny. But how do you excuse not seeing your QB being held up by a teammate?

Insert some generic rant about not having a headset here

And his offensive coordinator should have noticed and told him. But without the headset…

Well, it looks like Michigan is defending him. What a joke. I’m really disgusted.

Brain injuries are among the most terrible things that can happen to someone. Yes, there is always a risk when playing sports that it’s going to happen, but there’s a more significant risk when you’re back in there after not being able to stand!

Can they look any more incompetent?

<a href=“U-M president, regents mum on Hoke and Brandon's handling of Shane Morris injuries - mlive.com”>U-M president, regents mum on Hoke and Brandon's handling of Shane Morris injuries - mlive.com;
Regents will be discussing concussion incident. Hopefully this leads to a conclusion of incompentency and Brandon is gone. I’m sure that would take some time - but you got to start somewhere.

We lost again. :-(

No surprise

Patience. At that level, you do not fire someone without a successor on hand. Michigan is likely in the process of hiring Hokes successor. Once the particulars have been ironed out and he has accepted to join Michigan, Hoke will be let go.

I’d rather they just fire him and put in a cute puppy as head coach until they get his replacement. At least that might draw more people to the game than Hoke

(I’m only half-joking)

With a bye week after a Penn St. loss, I think Hoke will be fired. Either coordinator will be interim. The interim will then have an extra week to get organized, get the team regrouped.

Could well be wayneandgarth. This sucks. I like Hoke. Unfortunately, he just couldn’t turn the corner. It is too bad really. But with the level (and experience) of talent we have, this team should be no worse than 5-1 right now. Our losses to Utah, Minnesota and Rutgers were unacceptable, especially when you consider that Utah and Minnesota spanked us…at home!

And then the whole Morris fiasco. What was he thinking even starting him. Out of the 67 times that Morris had kept the ball going into the Minnesota game, he had turned the ball over a whopping 8 times (4 INTs and 4 fumbles). That 12% of the times. He was not ready to lead. And leaving him on the field when he was injured, even if it is likely that he did not do so knowingly, shows just how out of touch Hoke is.

But the firing should not stop at Hoke. I think Brandon should be let go as well. We need to get a new AD and a new HC.

Absolutely Alexandre. Keeping Brandon could limit who we can get for the next head coach as it is widely accepted that many won’t consider working with DB.

Utah is pretty good Alexandre. They just beat a highly ranked UCLA in LA. Brandon really needs to go first, because I honestly believe he won’t fire Hoke until at least the end of the season, if even then. We are going to lose some/most of our top recruits no matter if Hoke stays or goes. It is just a diseaster right now.
