<p>i was just wondering if anyone knows if the dorms are open to students who cant make it back home for the holidays (fall break, thanksgiving, spring break etc.)</p>

<p>Yes, I belive they are open for the holidays you mention, but not for the break between terms. The food service is somewhat spotty during the breaks, though.</p>
<p>Definitely yeah. As mafool mentioned, food is really annoying so anticipate having to spend a lot of food points ordering alot, or just have a lot of food in your room. Also, buses run infrequently and stop running really early, so there isn't alot of travel between campuses. </p>
<p>It's always nice to make sure you know some other people hanging out on campus so you can have movie marathons, things like that. Most people I know end up watching like, multiple seasons of TV shows and whatnot. You also might find people inviting you home to spend holiday's, like Thanksgiving with their families. I know many friends who have spend Thanksgiving and Spring Break with close friends of theirs who live within driving distance.</p>
