Okay so throughout all of high school and middle school, I’ve never gotten lower than a B as a final grade in a class. I’ve been a bit slow with math for as long as I can remember as I had trouble with multiplication and division tables as late as 5th grade. I’m quite good with geometry and tend to learn concepts at a slower rate. This year, I’m taking 3 AP classes and 2 electives, all of which I have As or high Bs in. The one class I’m doing poorly in is Pre-Calc. Now originally, I was going to go the easier route and take FAT (Function Analysis Trig) as I know I am not great in math. My mom insisted I take the harder class and I did. I got a lowish B last semester and currently (unfortunately) have a 72% in the class which I estimate I can bring up to around a 76% if I’m lucky. Is this bad? I recently started sort of charity thing I do with magic tricks for children in hospitals. I also scored very high on my PSAT. I have taken one SAT but have not gotten the scores back yet and I am planning to take the ACT soon. Lets say I do very well on the SAT and ACT and get very good grades next year, could I get into a good college. I’m not talking like Stanford or Harvard but maybe like UC Davis or Cal Poly as these are close by.
(PS, brand new to this site. Not sure if this is the right category to put it into)
