Online/Self Study AP Programs

Anyone have a good AP internet program they could show me? I'm in Washington state if that makes a difference. Thank you before hand.

APEX learning was pretty good.

Check out Keystone. I know someone doing AP Env Sci. other courses they
offer inlcude:
[ul]
[] AP Art History
[] AP Biology
[] AP Calculus AB
[] AP Calculus BC
[] AP Chemistry
[] AP Computer Science A
[] AP Economics
[] AP English Language
[] AP English Literature
[] AP European History
[] AP French Language
[] AP Macroeconomics
[] AP Microeconomics
[] AP Physics B
[] AP Psychology
[] AP Spanish Language
[] AP Statistics
[] AP US Government
[] AP US History
[] AP World History
[/ul]
The best French AP program is apparently from Elycee though I have not used them.

Lot of home-schoolers do Apex and
I have used EPGY online
. If you really want
to get a massive advantage in math and physics and not just ace the APs do EPGY.

:)

Any more online AP class websites anyone know?

UCCP Open Access: Course categories

University of California College Prep Online.

Do you need to ask your high school about these online AP programs or is that not necessary?

Some public schools in states like Maryland sponsor online courses others
do not. Varies by state program. If you are planning on getting school credit
(usually very hard to do this even with EPGY) you probably should talk
to your GC and Headmaster. In any case you should plan on getting formal
transcripts sent to collges that you are applying to.

:)

Beyond what everyone has already mentioned:
Gifted LearningLinks - Online Courses for Gifted Students at the Center for Talent Development, Northwestern University

If you have a particular class in mind, you can just seach on that class and 'online'.

(pm me if you homeschool and I can give you one more option)

My kids took a class through the UCCP - it was boring and buggy (and they do not offer support), but it is free!

Nah I'm at a school, I just wanted to get some more APs in. Do these websites intereact with my schools or can I just take them without interacting with my current school? Thank you for the help.

Does anyone have a list of the textbooks at their school for AP World History and/or AP Euro

help me out please :P

Northwestern CTD has almost every AP, I've taken several and am taking more over the summer-pm me if you want additional info

Hey offthetreadmill, did you do well on your ap test after the Northwestern CTD thing?

llpitch? did you us the UCCP thing? if so... did you do well on the test?

if you do the uccp thing, how does it show up on college applications?
does it just show that you took the ap test or?

xhiliaration - you would need to add it to your college app. It probably wont appear on your xscritp, unless you can convince you school to add it in.
Some schools have a section for self reported course lists. All schools have boxes for anything you want to add, etc.
