Only applied to SCS, can I still double major?

I got accepted to SCS RD, which is the only school I applied to. I want to double major in Management Information Systems (ranked #1 apparently by USNWR) from Tepper, but I didn't mention that on my application. Prior to submission, I emailed the deans of undergrad SCS and Tepper, and the SCS person emailed me back and said to just apply to SCS and worry about that later. Tepper seems to be highly selective as well, so would it be difficult to get a 2nd degree from there? And I can't really find much info on MIS, just the "Computer and IT Technology" Business Track on Tepper's website. Is it an actual undergrad degree? I'm pretty confused and hope to resolve most of these questions when I visit next weekend, but I'd like to get information ASAP. Thanks.

MISM is a master's program... IS is an undergrad program, but not available as a second major. You can double in business if they let you; there's some minimum GPA and paperwork and stuff.

I heard that you can major in SCS and minor in Business-but ask admissions office to be sure.

USNews.com: America's Best Colleges 2008: Management Information Systems

This list says that CMU is ranked #1 for undergrad Business with a concentration on MIS. So I should just major/minor in general "Business" right?

All students in SCS are required to have some sort of minor. You should be able to get a business minor without a problem, though a double major might be a bit of work in scheduling classes so they don't overlap.

Okay, but would I have trouble getting into the classes? Tepper seems to be pretty competitive to get into, so would I have to talk to someone to re-evaluate my application?

I don't think you would. It might be hard freshman year to get into classes, but if you take Econ 100 and maybe some other course that's easy to get into your freshman year, you should be able to make up any lost time your second year.
