<p>I'm from California and sent my app to UT on Nov 2...I've been furiously checking UTdirect for the past few weeks and I'm wondering now if it is futile. What are your thoughts?</p>
<p>It's not rolling admission for OOS or non-top ten percenters, you won't find out until March.</p>
<p>alright i guess that message on the screen saying theyll post the decision is just a trick haha if only i was form the state of TX then I would already be in!</p>

<p>i'm also from california. i applied on the deadline (i think february 1st?) and heard 2 weeks later in mid february. i was told at my campus visit that 2 weeks was extremely fast for OOS. the only thing you can assume from this is that it's possible you won't have to wait until march, like foxshox said.</p>
<p>I'm OOS, applied at midnight on Dec 1, and received my acceptance on Dec 10.</p>

well i'm in the top 5% of my class at a very large charter school, 3.8 uw (like 4 AP, and a lot of honors) and have 2100 SAT I, what else do you need to know?</p>
