<p>I'm transferring to Cornell next semester and intend to take Organic Chemistry there. Does Orgo in Cornell include the lab and lecture in one course, or is the lab separate from the lecture? Is there a lab for each Orgo I and Orgo II?</p>

<p>No, lab is not included. Orgo lab ids a one semester course and it’s worth 2 credits. Lab can be taken at any time. You can take it concurrently with either semester of Orgo or you can take it later after completing Orgo I and Orgo II.</p>
<p>The lab course is separate from the lecture orgo course. For med school purposes (if that’s what you are intending), you need to take the two 3-credit lecture courses and the 2-credit lab course. You don’t need a full year of lab for med school.</p>
