Has anyone filled in the OSP application online and recieved confrimation that they are attending???

I havn't... I hope I wansnt put on the waitlist, because they said they got 200 registrations in the first 15 minuits.

what's OSP

Overnight Stay Program. Got filled up within minutes. Something about spending the night there so you can get a feel for it.

offered by the alumni association?

My son was contacted by phone tonight at around 6 p.m. (PST). He will be going.

danm i didnt get in

can anyone who got accepted to the program tell me the exact time they submitted their application.

ditto morerforyour$
this is insane

Because my son was at his internship, and I'm on spring break this week (I'm a teacher), I was able to go online for him. I checked at 2:57, and the little form was up on the page, and I think I hit submit at 3 p.m. exactly.

I hit submit at 3pm as well--printed the page and the thank you for submitting page @ 3:01 pm. My son did not get in and I am shocked!

For those who did get in, the application form must be RECEIVED in their office by April 13th (not postmarked or mailed by then). Mail early so you don't lose your spot.

-buzzwick the exact same thing happened to me, this is crazy its truely unfair that they allowed people to get on before 3:00 PM

I noticed the link on my Events page on the night of April 1st, submitted my application, faxed my papers, and got an application confirmation e-mail at 10:23PM.

What's this about filling up within five minutes of 3:00PM?

This is for a different program under the alumni assicaiation which is after calday.

The OSP to which I was accepted is flying me up on the 14th; I leave right after Cal Day.

I think the post Cal Day OSP is strictly for Alumni Semifinalists, an award for which I didn't apply.
