Hi I know that the California schools need money and are using more and more out of state students to obtain that money. Anyway I'm from a well known high school in New York and I wanted to apply to sdsu. I will be an out of state student and I will not be applying for financial aid. My test scores are higher than average (1890) but my GPA is lower (3.1). Does me being out of state help my chances? or does SDSU favor out of state students?

Bump.

Attached you will find SDSU’s common data set from last years. You can see where you stand on GPA and SAT scores. You can also see what they consider important for admissions. Unfortunately, they do not break it out by in-state and out of state. http://asir.sdsu.edu/CDS2013_2014.pdf
