Also, if my DS is considering rushing a fraternity, will he need to choose between the two? Thanks! </p>
<p>My understanding is that it is “first come, first served” and that if you are in the Honors College you are eligible for these programs. Past that, they are not competitive. I’m hoping others will answer as to whether there are conflicts with fraternity rush.</p>
<p>At least when my D applied a couple years ago, it was first come first served. I don’t think that has changed. It shouldn’t conflict with fraternity rush, as there is no formal fraternity recruitment that week (or any week)
like the sororities have. </p>
