Overnight Dorm Room Visitors

With American being relatively strict about alcohol consumption and safety measures (having to come down and claim students from other dorms)-- what’s AU policy regarding the above?

With your roommate's consent, you can have visitors stay in your room for three nights, but not more than that. I don't believe that there is any restrictions on number of visitors allowed.

To have a guest visit in the residence halls for longer than a three-day period. Repeated visits by guests over extended periods may be considered unauthorized occupancy of a room by the guest. The university reserves the right to prohibit repeated, extended visits.

I say this calls for more anecdotal shares...... I mean what constitutes overnight? The previous poster conjures up a few comedic thoughts.

So-- in theory, you can have a visitor for three nights-- make them sleep somewhere else for one night-- and then have them sleep over for another three nights?

SO long as its not repeated over an extended period of time?
haha.
