<p>I'm not yet acclimated to D attending college in a hoppin' city like NOLA where lodging seems to be in high demand EVERY weekend!</p>
<p>Peeked at hotels yesterday for November 14-16 and some were already sold out-YIKES!</p>
<p>We went on Hotwire last night and took a chance on a 3-star hotel in the Garden District. We've always had great success with Hotwire, and thankfully, last night was no exception! We landed the Avenue Plaza Resort at 2111 St. Charles for $95/night! All suites with living rooms, kitchens, etc., streetcar stop right outside the front door, exceptional reviews on Trip Advisor, market price is $269-299/night.</p>
