what do you perfer? I perfer pens for everything, I hate pencils but the only time i use them is on tests

I too prefer pens, they don’t smudge and its easy to go back and review notes later on. I use pencils on exams because they are often required for multiple choice tests and because its easier to fix mistakes.

Pencils. I’m just way more used to them.

Pens for everything but tests and I occasionally use pencils for math homework/notes if I’m not too confident in my knowledge of it and I’m anticipating loads of erasing, lol.

Pencils smudge over time and I just love the way a good pen just glides along paper. (that sounds weird, but it’s true.)

Pencils, mechanical ones. I’m somewhat of a perfectionist, and it absolutely kills me to see a page of notes filled to the brim with scratched out words when using a pen or illegible writing from the blunt tip of a normal pencil.

Pen unless I’m doing math

I use pens unless I have to use pencils.

Pens, especially the kind that give off a lot of ink.

Pens to take notes in all classes, including math ones. Pencils for homework/exams.

Pen unless I’m doing math.

Pens for everything except math. I hate pencils. The point breaks and I can never find a sharpener, and as silly as it sounds, I don’t like the way mechanical pencil lines look on paper- it’s too thin. I just prefer the look of black cursive on white paper.

Pens for everything, including math and exams. (My high school had a no-pencil policy for any graded work and I have never switched back to pencils.)

Pen’s unless I’m doing math, or writing the rough draft of my essay by hand for any reason. Pencils are also slightly better if you’re taking a science course or anything that may need you to erase or change a problem or a diagram multiple times.

Pilot G-2 pens. I don’t even own any pencils lol

Pencils, since you can actually erase mistakes instead of scratching out everything.

Pens…except for exams and math, then I use pencils.

Pens. Including math.

I always preferred pens and even used them to do homework in 4th grade to my teacher’s chagrin. lol

But when I was in 7th and 8th grade, pens were required for all subjects (except maybe math?), so I’m just used to it.

pens because I don’t make mistakes.

Mechanical pencils, always. Even though pen is easier to read and doesn’t get that fuzzy, smudgy look as the year wears on, I make a lot of edits to my notes and I HATE scribbling things out. I can’t stand seeing marked up pages of notes.

lol that’s awesome

I have been using pencil since I can remember, pens were always frowned upon at my schools. I’m starting college on Aug. 22nd and I might make the transition to pen.
