nope, nothing from finaid yet.

if the admission office told me that my transcripts and personal application are sufficient enought to make a decision and they will make a decision soon, does it indicate that something has alreadly happened to me?

Hi everyone. I am desperately waiting for CALS bio sci. I am an international student, currently staying in NY, and got accepted to Ga Tech (BME) and UW-madison (biochm) for back up. However, I really wanna go Cornell. To hear the final decision I think I have to wait until at least the first week of May. I hope every one here waiting for Cornell or other ivies hears only good news from them. thanks.

hey ahrry1984 why are you convinced that u have to wait until atleast the first week of may? is it bc ur an international? im canadian, does that mean i have to wait until first wk of may too? (for cas though)

ahrry1984, when did you hear from ga tech, and was it by email, snail mail, or online?
thanks

"Hajen," it was just my guess because on CALS web site there is a time schedule which says releasing transfer decisions will be continued until June 1. So even the first of week May would be earlier. However, I just assumed that they will start releasing from late April. I know it is painful and nervous to wait the result, but what can we do... you know. Frankly to say, CALS is driving me crazy thesedays. That's why I came here. ^^

"i like the thrills," I got accepted to Ga Tech BME around Feb 20. First of all, they updated my status on the web site as "decision has been made" something like that, and after a week, Feb 20, I got a big package containing Congratulation letter, Transfer evaluation form, housing etc. Have you applied Ga Tech too??? What major??

ya its drving me crazy too

i'm applying for mech. engr transfer to ga tech, i'm a freshman at clemson right now

Anyone waiting for decisions from UPENN?

Yea I'm still waiting for Penn decisions.

So am I, and also Columbia

I am waiting for Penn, Cornell, Dartmouth, and Stanford.

-Eddie-

How hard is it to get into Stanford as a transfer?

kkl230 -- I'm reffering to Brown. I'm always reffering to Brown :)

Hard, I think. Gaaaah! prays for Stanford to accept her

Does anyone know when Columbia will send their decisions? May 15th?

I just got a postcard from Stanford saying:

"We have received the necessary materials to evaluate your application for admission."

Did anyone else get this? Isn't it kind of late for this, I submitted my application online and sent all of the supplemental stuff in early March.

-Eddie-

Yeah it's late but the adcoms started meeting this week so I wouldn't trip.

I just got mine, too. This is about the time they said they'd send them out. I wouldn't worry.

UPenn has yet to send out decisions.

I received the green postcard regarding missing stuf, but I was told to disregard that. I just hate how their system works. They refuse to check your folders and provide you info with what's missing and what's not. All they would say is, "We'll email you if you're missing anything"
