Penn App. - Q & A!

with collegeboard, i took my sats in april and didnt send them anywhere then. i need to send them now but aren't the first four reports free? why are they asking for 9.50 for just the one to penn?

Its free when you sign up for the SATs. After that its 9.50 per report. Are you taking any more SATs/SAT IIs? If so then you can just send the report through that. Otherwise you will have to pay.

yeah, im taking an SAT II on the 14th. if i put penn on that list, itll send all my score reports??

Yes, it will send all of your scores.

Urgent question:
Where do IB students put their predicted grades? Is it in the AP/IB Examinations + scores sheet on the Secondary School Report form?

Got a quick question about the Huntsman Essay. Anyone know what the length is supposed to be and what kind of style they want? I'm not sure if they're looking for specific knowledge (a la research paper, with citations) or if they just want you to ponder the issue. Thanks!

did anyone find out the answer to where we put AP info?? cause i have nine... so 7 spots is weird. If I were to contact someone, how do I go about doing that?? Do I call my regional director/admissions officer??

Ok. I'm sure this has been asked already but I don't have time to go through all of the questions to find this one. When they say don't exceed one page for the essays, do they mean one page double spaced or single spaced. Because if it's double both of my essays are over a page. If it's double, will they penalize me?

its single, as it is for all schools so no worries :-)

Thanks.
Another question: Is the application due in it's entirety Jan 1? Meaning the payment, the transcript and the letters.
Because it looks like I will only have the application part in but nothing else.
My family doesn't have money to pay the $75 fee right now.

The application (forms, essays) and app fees (since I'm pretty sure you have to pay when you submit the app if you're doing it online) are due on Jan 1. Transcript, letters of rec, and other things along those lines can trickle in after Jan 1, although ideally as soon as possible.
Do you have a fee waiver?
Best of luck!

No fee waiver. I wonder if I could submit the application and go to guidance when I get back to school to get one. They couldn't possibly reject my application because my fee was late.
