Penn State or CUNY Baruch?

Penn State Altoona (probably go two years and then try to transfer to the main campus)

or CUNY Baruch?

---------Quick Summary-----

I live in Manhattan. Career wise, probably want to do something in the business direction. . . and music?

Altoona = 5 hours away from home

CUNY Baruch= in Manhattan, might not dorm.

Lets take reputation, college experience, and all into consideration. And I can afford both.

I'm afraid I'll go to Baruch and never escape. . people just talk of transferring out of CUNYs but I doubt it actually happens.

And I don't want to end up after 4 years with a degree from a no name school. (That's also a damn commuter school!)

I've wanted to go to PSU U park for the longest time, but they only took me for PSU Altoona (45 min away from Upark).

I want the college experience!

They are telling me about the 2+2 plan, which would have me transfer to the main campus after two years given I have good grades. Seems like a marketing ploy though.

If I ***** up in school at Altoona, I can't major Business at U Park, and let's remember Altoona doesn't offer the stuff I want other than an Undecided Undergrad. Only business major they have is Business management!

Then again, *****ing up isn't an option ( Need at least a 3.0)

I visited Altoona and was disappointed in the mediocre campus, and a student body I am not quite accustomed to (not necessarily a bad thing).

I have heard very poor reviews of Baruch from many of the student population.

----POST IF YOU HAVE MEANINGFUL INSIGHT INTO THESE TWO SCHOOLS. I HAVE TO DECIDE ASAP. THANKS!-------
