I have been accepted to both VT with the Corps and Penn State. I want to know if the Corps is fun or if people feel like it is just something they have to do? I have been at military school for 4 years and want to branch out some. I feel like I can hold my own grade wise at Penn State, but don't want to get lost. I also want to have a fun experience too. I feel like the Corps of Cadets will keep me tied down and not allow me to have a social life outside of it. Just wanted anyones opinions and thanks for any advice.

If you’re sick of military school, definitely branch out! It seems very restrictive to go to VT unless it’s something you’re passionate about doing. If your heart isn’t in it, expand your life experience and go to Penn State and have fun as well as schoolwork. If you’ve been in military school you probably have the discipline to figure out what you need.

Are you considering Virginia Tech without the Corps of Cadets? Is that an option? Maybe some else knows.

What are you looking to major in?

I wanna major in buisness and I don’t think VT will let me go without the Corps of cadets
