"Cal States(safeties): SDSU, Cal Poly, Long Beach

That is a lot of applications! Have you finished?

cal states, UCs, Arizona are done....im still editing my common app essay that im recycling for Oxy, Santa Clara, USD, U Wash....and then I just have Pepperdine, USC, and Chapman left.....im kind of reconsidering applying to USC. its not my favorite place in the world and i know way too many ppl that go there

Have you tried any SAT II's. I think they are required at USC.

yea i had to for UCs...i dont think theyre required for USC but i dont think im applying anymore

ya i went to preview day in november and I have a theater audition out there on the 11th.

Sammy - wow our board sure got popular huh? Yeah I got deferred from Stanford, and I think the chances of getting in are pretty low now (somewhere around 10% for deferred applicants) but I was still pretty happy cause I thought I would get rejected :) I just sent in the rest of my apps last week, and I really like all the schools, so I'm not too disappointed about not getting in. So are you pretty sure you'll go to Stanford? are you still applying to other places?

Torchi~ Yes, I will probably go to Stanford and I'm really excited about that. So if you don't go to Stanford, where is your first choice? Pepperdine? That's pretty close to Stanford. ;)
Good luck with your other apps.

Hey Sammy, I'm sure you'll love Stanford. My first choice, not counting Stanford, is either Wheaton, Pepperdine, or Columbia...but the location of Pepp is sounding pretty good now. ;) By the way, Brit said she finally found your # so she'll give you a call soon.

Anyone know when people should hear that applied early. Someone last year said mid March but the site says April.

They didn't have an early action application plan this year, only a priority deadline. Everyone, priority apply and not, will find out April 1.

Hey Guys,

I'm also applying to Pepperdine and I'm really interested in attending. I was on a Student Review website a few days ago and it seems like if you are an ethnic, non-christian, liberal...life is pretty horrible. Girls come to 8am classes with a full face of make-up and high heels, that's a little overboard! I don't know what to believe, I;ve heard mixed reviews. As a person of color and someone who isn't super conservative and a non-christian, I'm scared I won't fit in. Nevertheless, I like the academic programs they offer. I have pretty good grades and 1320 SAT's...my counselor says i have a good shot at getting accepted. Any insight on what I should believe and not believe when it comes to these student reviews?
