Is it possible to petition grades off your transcript if it does not pertain to your major? I heard someone was able to do this. I have two C's that I want to get rid of which makes my GPA not so spectacular.. -__-

i have the same problem. i have a c in a business class which is just an elective for me, as my major is poly sci. but my gpa would be much better with the c off. is it possible????

i also would like to know if this is possible

Doesn't this qualify as academic renewal? If so, you'd have to wipe all the grades in the semester that you took those classes in. Also, some academic renewals require you wait two years since you last took that class.

^ Its different at every CCC

At CCSF Academic renewal says you can wipe up to 20units only at 1 time and can be only for grades of a D or F. To be able to do this you need to have complete over 20 units with a 3.0 or 30uinits with a 2.0 gpa. Also it does not wipe the whole semester, but only the classes you point to have "AR" apply too.

But point being is I would ask a counselor at YOUR CCC as it's different at every CCC.

Hope that helps, and I was told to only do it the semester before I plan to apply as it takes a few months to become part of your transcripts.
