Hi everyone! I applied on 9/20 and my application has said “complete” for the past 2 weeks. Anyone have an idea of when I will get my admission decision?
@kate2888 …are you clicking on the “complete” and finding it opens to another page? The next page should say applicant or admitted.

Waiting to hear back about honors college and merit
This happened to my son 2 years ago and he eventually got admitted My daughter is now in the same situation, though her letter requested only the test scores. She is also not a great standardized test taker, but has the grades, rigor, etc. Her scores don’t reflect that kind of student she is at all. We are hoping for a little improvement in her scores and that Pitt makes decisions holistically. It is frustrating, but stay positive. I think he still has a good chance.

Just checked my app and it says I’m admitted to Dietrich!! Idk when I got admitted but I don’t have an email yet so it must’ve been recent. applied 9/16, accepted 10/02? 3.83 UW, 4.17 W, 1470 SAT (760 R, 710 M), school doesn’t rank

While my stats are good they are not mind-blowing. So, I wrote very well-written essays focused on my skills, had three recommendations from teachers, submitted application early, and am choosing an obscure field of study. Thus, brains are a major factor (my grades ARE high) but there are other aspects that PITT seems to take into consideration.
Do I have a decent chance at a scholarship? Applied a few days ago so not super early but still pretty early.

Are my numbers looking good for a decent scholarship? Being in state is great but it’s 20k just for tuition for business which is pretty steep for in state… would definetly attend if I got some merit.
Also, I took the September ACT and sent scores using free score report. My application says complete so does that mean they received and matched my scores already? I applied to Penn State and used a free score report but it’s not showing received there. Does complete application mean they received my scores for Pitt or does that just mean the initial application is complete?
If it is totally complete with ACTs, does that mean a decision will come in around 4-6 weeks? A few people have mentioned getting decisions in just two weeks which is crazy.
Son just got emailed yesterday!! Awesome video!! Pitt is his first choice and he is admitted to Swanson School of Engineering!! So proud!!

Did anyone submit their ap scores before getting accepted?
@classof2017, If it says in the portal that your application is complete, that means we have any test scores you told us to expect on your application. If we are missing anything (test scores, application fee, ect) it should show up as an action item for you in the portal.
@jc1127, It is not necessary for you to submit your AP scores with your application. If you are accepted and choose to enroll at Pitt, we will ask for them at that time.
