We are making some changes to the portal. You should still be able to see whether or not your application is marked complete. Moving forward, notification of admission will come via email and/or letter.
@hopeforthebest82, The Portal will tell you whether or not your application is complete, but you should look for an email/letter for the final decision.

So, frequent visitors to this conversation and those who were there at there at the beginning - Pitt has changed the way the Pitt Dashboard looks. As of today you will no longer see that wonderful line that says Accepted. Now it only shows the school you applied to (or were accepted to, not sure) and the year 2017-2018 and an option to Accept or Decline. Less informative for sure. Curious about the motivation for that change and wish they would go back.
Just don’t freak out because it changed. @hailtopitt1787 mentions this change on page 25, so it was a planned thing.
@class0f2017, Dec 15 is the deadline for scholarship consideration. But that said, the Scholarship Committee reviews students on a rolling basis, so it’s in your best interest to apply as early as you can.
Just got accepted!

Good luck to everyone else who applied!
On my portal, the only widget under admissions is to accept or decline. When they changed the portal yesterday, the whole widget where I was able to see if my application was complete or not was removed. I get it that folks were seeing admissions acceptance and they apparently wanted that to go away, but if anyone else is like me, they can’t even tell if the application is complete any more. I did call admissions because if I click on the accept/decline admissions I get an error that there is no pending application - they verified that my application is, indeed, complete.

Thru ps.mobile unable to see if application is complete - the entire tab was removed under admissions. Thru my.pitt.edu, yes, the application shows as complete. Ps.mobile actually says there is no pending application under the accept/decline tab - only admissions tab left since the portal change.
@VBhitter21, You are correct - for at least a week while we implement PS Mobile changes, it will be necessary to go through my.pitt.edu to check application status. Thank you for bringing that up.
I can’t believe that I got accepted, If any of u want to feel better u can look at my stats above. And it only took two weeks for a reply, which is amazing.
@hailtopitt1787 do u know when we get notified for scholarships
@hopeforthebest82, Congrats! Scholarship acceptance is rolling, just like admissions. Those who are selected will be notified sometime between November and March.
