Place to check application status

Did they email to you with id and password for checking status?

No but I didn't ask for one either. They just told me over the phone that they had everything.

^yeah, that's the same thing with me, no email

you should email them if you didn't get one because everyone who got an email said they rice admissions in the first place.

^What? (10char)

they sent to me thru mail anh email the website and id/password to check status

well when I was there, she just said that it was fine and I will be getting an email to notify me of acceptance

Okay so today, I finally got "the email" notifying me of my application status. It says that everything has been received. I did notice one thing however, when I called before, the lady said my application was "completed" and an admissions director mentioned that she had already read my app (about 2.5 weeks ago) but on there, it says application under review. I wonder what that means.

I also have "application under review"
Does anyone have another status besides that??

I mean, obviously, I know what "application under review" means, I was wondering why the lady I spoke to on the phone said "completed"

I think all apps are "under review" until they're either accepted or rejected. My son's page said "under review" all the way up until the day his acceptance was posted.

Has anyone gotten notification on if they got in or not? I received the email yesterday with login information and mine just said "Under Review" (like all the others, apparently!) Do you think they'll make us wait up until Dec. 15 or start giving admission decisions sooner?

Somehow I get the feeling they're going to make us wait until the 15th. I wish they would let us know sooner. Having to wait like this is torture.

I have a very odd feeling of certainty though. It's a bit TOO odd however. I'd really like to be really certain.

They will release admissions decisions simultaneously, so no one will have an answer before anyone else. If they choose to release decisions sooner, they will do so for all applicants. This means that, even though some decisions may have been made already, these applicants won't find out any sooner than everyone else.

And I would exercise caution in being too certain. Even people with very high scores and grades can't be certain. Just don't set yourself up for possible extreme disappointment.

I just can't help the feeling. Maybe I feel this way since I visited, idk but I don't have great grades nor great test scores.

Do you think I can get in with great grades (#2 in class), great SAT Subject Test Scores, all the rest , but not a gr8 SAT (1300 (M+V))

anything is possible. My friend got in last year with a 3.9 and not a single SAT in the 600s but she was also a Gates Scholar. And your SAT is slightly better than mine, M+V 1270

Well good luck to us then! - are you in IB?

no but I have lots of AP classes, my school doesnt offer IB
