Speaking of spaghetti, anyone here ever had filipino spaghetti? It is "different". Has hot dogs in it and is really really sweet. Like sugar noodles. I like it though.

What about Sam Woo? I haven't been to one in a long long time.

Korean bbq =yum Anyone been to Tahoe Kalbi?

Mmm, Tahoe Kalbi has some very nice ambiance, but I'd give my vote to Soot Bul Gui Rim. It's $16 I believe, but it has some VERY good cuts of meat. It's smaller than Tahoe, so be prepared to wait a bit if you come at a busy time.

GUSHI!!! I went there twice last week. Don't get the ramen.

Is there anything to do other than eat in SGV?

I'm thinking about taking the boyfriend there this weekend, but can't think of anything to do other than feed him and take him to Old Pasadena.

Suggestions welcomed. :)

Do you like parks or gardens? There's the Huntington Gardens, LA County Arboretum, Santa Fe Dam, Bonelli Regional Park . . . Raging Waters has already opened for summer, too.

There's not much that's spectacular in SGV that you can't do anywhere else. The list purpleube gave is pretty good activities for the day, if you can spend time with someone who would appreciate them.

But if you're a typical teen who just wants to hang out with friends, there's just the usual eateries, mall ... sing K ... that's about it in the SGV.

Thanks for the suggestions.
I thought about library and gardens, but I don't think the boy would enjoy it very much.

I guess there isn't very much else to do in SGV except eat.

Are there any "must-go-to" places?

Maybe just the types of restaurant. Dim sum, pho, hot pot...

Best place would be Old Town Pasadena. Go for a walk then dinner.
