<pre><code> Cooperation with others produces substantially better outcomes than working as an individual. Byth(supposed to be "by") working together, people can overcome and succeed in almost all endeavors. Several examples from modern day basketball, history, and my personal------ that cooperation leads to greater success in a field than by working as a lone wolf.
Kobe Bryant, a star basketball player, is notorious for not working and cooperating with his team. This lack of cooperation produces worse results in their basketball games. The team has been losing many games lately and it's situation is only exacerbated by the haughty Kobe Bryant who refuses to cooperate with his team.
One of the most famous examples in history where a group of people worked together in order to accomplish a certain goal was the American Revolution. Led by George Washington, the 13 colonies rebelled against their master, Great Britain. In order to have a successful revolution the 13 colonies needed to work together. At first, the British were destroying the colonies in the war. This was due to the colonie's lack of organization and cooperation. However, George Washington helped unify the colonies. This eventually led to a watershed where the colonies started to win battles. The American Revolution surely exemplifies that working with others definetly leads to better results than acting as an individual.
I also have experienced the great power one can get from cooperating with others. In my AP Physics class, the teacher assigned us a lab report to do. Usually I work alone on lab reports, but this time my teacher required us to work in groups of 3. I teamed up with my friends, Jack and Alex. We were able to accomplish a great deal more than I ever have been able to do by working alone. Finally we recieved an exemplary grade that was much better than the grade I usually recieve by working alone. This group project helped show me that working with others leads to better results than working by myself.
By carefully analyzing Kobe Bryant and his basketball team, the American Revolution, and my own group experience, one can see that cooperation indeed produces better results than working as an individual. By working alone, one cannot maximize his or her full potential.
