I got a D in one of my major class last semester and repeat it this semester and get a B. I am going to submit my TAG next semester.
Since UC Davis TAG requires "no grades less than C", will that D hurt my TAG?
Please help, thank you.

That D won’t count toward your GPA, you will still need to report it but when you enter your grade of a B the D grade won’t count toward your GPA anymore.

Thank you for your answer. I’m not worrying about my GPA. What I am concerned is UC Davis requires “no grades less than C”. I mean if I got a D and repeat that course, will that D still count as “grade less than C”?

No, it will not because you repeated the course. I repeated 2 F’s and 1 D and I got accepted to every UC I applied to

Make sure on the TAG application you indicate that the B is replacing the D for that course. When you input your grade there’s usually a drop down menu to indicate whether the course is a repeat or not.

@mermaker did you apply to UC Berkeley?

No. I applied to UCSB, UCSD, UCD and UCSC.

Alright, many thanks.
