<p>The greatest feeling a perosn can have is to work ones hardest for something and then to succeed in that undetaking . It gives reason to all the hardships and labors that wre faced along the way. However, we as human have a fatal flaw in that we are never satidfied and always want more. To get more we are willing to go to great leghnths even if it means proeforming acts of evil.The evil that we preform then usually carries with it disasteroiuse consiquences. That is why success can be aterrible thing , and an example of this can be derived from the downfall of Macbeth in Shakespears Macbeth.
Macbeth a loyal follower of the king at the outset og the play had his ambitionsds awakend when three witches approached him promising honors. The first that he will be made Thane of Cawdor , the second that he will be the future king of scotland. When Mcbeth gets oword that he was made Thane , he wants more. Thus he preforms the horrible act fo regicide. As if that wasn't enough in order to ensure he will not be overthrown , he goes on a killling spree , so to say.Due to his need to keep his power he engulfs scotland in a sea of blood, and concurrently begets enimies for himsElf. In the end his enimies , led by the trueking of scotland , Banquo ,destory him.
In Macbeth we are gibven a prime example of how someone can addicted to the extacy of success.He begins as a loyal follwer of the king , butwhen he experincES some success As thAnE , he craves more , as is human nature.He then does whatever he can to get rid of his enimeis but this leads to his ow eventual murder.Macbeth is a clasic example of how success can currupt and lead someone to their downfall , amore moderrn exampl can be taken from pro sports.
When pro Athletes ecperiance success and make it to the top, they want to saty there. Howevre that is easier said than done considering that every year younger ,stronger ,faster athletes come along. So some then sturn to steriods in order to continue their success , sterids that bear with them many side effect , one of which include death!

No , they want more and amore ,an will not be stopped untill they get it , by whatever means neccessarry.
