Can I get into, and which would be a good match:
UVA early decision?
Colgate?
URichmond?
Wake forest?
George Washington?
American?
Bucknell?
Tulane?
Trinity?
William and Mary?
Middlebury?

I think you need to get your scores up which would make you a cmpetitive applicant, but here are just my thoughts based off what you wrote so far

UVA early decision: reach
Colgate: reach
URichmond: match
Wake forest?
George Washington: Low Reach
American: Match
Bucknell: Low Reach
Tulane: Match
Trinity: Match
William and Mary: Reach
Middlebury: Reach

Wake Forest has recently become SAT/ACT optional so that my help you there, but to be competitive definitely get your scores up to at least the 50th percentile. If your school uses Naviance, use it to see how you might stack up to other applicants from your school.

might also look at Holy Cross-top 25 LAC with nice campus 1 hour from Boston.

more ECs would help! Are you more liberal? I don’t mean to sound blunt but if you would like you could contact me and I could tell you how to volunteer for Ready for Hillary. I’m from PA too, and I volunteer.

I think the only really “reach” schools on there are W&M, UVA, and Colgate.
Express passion throughout your application. That is what I’m doing, and I’m focusing my essays on politics (risky, but don’t preach! just explain/ exemplify your enthusiasm).

I just received my SAT II scores and I scored a 740 on US History and a 700 on Literature, if that makes any difference

The 740 will help.

I think Bucknell looks to be my best option, but as one of the most expensive schools on my list, I have my doubts as well
