Pollock or South?

Due to the fact that my d will be spending most breaks on campus, she is limited to only Pollock and South as choices for dorms (they are the only dorms with 9 month leases, for freshmen).

She will be a computer science major.

Any words of advice on either dorm?

I have a D there now, sophomore … She’s lived in Pollock last year and now she’s in South. Pollock definitely will have more freshman than South…so she might feel more comfortable there. South has the sororities and mostly upperclassmen.

I agree. If you’re living in a building with sororities, they’re going to be involved in their own activities and less likely to get to know others who aren’t in their sorority. Not that they aren’t friendly, it’s more that they wouldn’t have as much time and their schedules are already full.
