I plan on attending a California CC and then transfering to a UC, but I'd really like to get this done in one year instead of 2.

The reason is that my local CC only offers two classes after Calculus BC, which is Multivariable Calc III and Linear Algebra. This will only fulfill one year of math courses, and being a prospective math major, I can't have a year without any math classes as a sophomore.

With AP/Dual Enrollment/Summer Courses, I would have enough credits to transfer after a year, but the problem is that apps are due Nov. 30, when not even Fall Semester grades are out yet.

Is there any way to get out of CC after one year instead of two?

if you have 60 units from AP->UC (not AP->CC) along with the CC courses then you can transfer in 1 year.
Kinda a strange point, even if AP units do not transfer to a UC, as long as the CC accepts them, they can apply toward IGETC certification.

In short get IGETC certification and use assist.org to knockout the pre-reqs for your major.

The application is due at the end of Nov but the UCs won’t seriously start considering transfer until like March. That is after the Fall transfer update gets posted so they will be able to see fall grades. You could also enroll in summer if you wanted to as well to get extra courses in.

Lastly if you can attend Orange Coast College I would highly recommend it. The math program is strong there. Their Math A182H is a Berkeley-level proof based course and they offer other courses such as discrete math and even introduction to tensors on manifolds… ya that is an upper division course.
