Post-AP Chemistry thread.

Hmm, maybe this isn't so bad.

When you report AP scores to colleges, they're usually self-reported, right? Meaning you just write them on your app? I remember reading that somewhere.

So if I don't want a school to see my chem grade, they don't have to?

^ Correct. You can just put down the ones you want.

Okay, that makes me feel better. No need to cancel then...based on 40% being a 3, I might have a chance. Key word--might!

isn't like 50% on the test equivalent to a 5 typically?

hmm... i thought it was extremely easy... it was the easiest AP test I've taken so far. might just be i'm better with mathy stuff than memorization stuff like history and bio though.

didn't skip a single one in MP, the only one where i got slightly confused was question 2 or 3 on the FRQs.

i got confused on number 5 on the frq. the whole mv thing confused the hel out of me.

Yea I hated that question. I took forever to figure it out and when I did, I was like duh! The result was that I finished writing the second the proctor called time. Stupid mistakes will kill me. :(

im with you there stupid mistakes

Yeah, I thought the first 3 FR were a joke. I was finished in 30 minutes. I'm thinking... uh what do I do now?

BTW the hardest part of the test was definitely taking the green insert out of the Free Response packet. That thing was so thick, I ripped out my staples and had to re-staple.

I was tempted, but did not leave any blank, as I do for every mutiple choice test I take.

I'm sure I got a 5.

I swear there were no 6f and 6g at least on the answer sheet. How can someone just skip them, cuz the lines start right after the last question. And if the question was about pressure equilibrium, it is more unlikely to skip them (the whole fraction deal).

so were f and g written on the green booklet? I didn't use the green booklet since the questions were on the answer sheet.

that's what i'm thinking. if that's true, collegeboard screwed up big time.

i seem to remember them on the answer sheet...i did f and g and never looked at the green booklet

This is killing me.. I can't remember if i did f or g

Yeah there was never a 6f and 6g on the answer sheet. And yes, the lines started right after 6E.

im pretty sure f and g were on the answer sheet cuase i know i did them and i didnt use the green sheet. but i know people who didnt see it.

Where 6F and 6G right after 6E? The lines started right after 6E...

I'm pretty sure I answered f and g on number 6 without using the green insert.

The directions for the FRQ really confused me because I wasn't used to the problems being printed in both the green insert and the response booklet. And I had a ton of of space left over after I finished answering each question.

I got confused on a couple parts of the FRQ, but I'm pretty confident about it. I'm sure I made some stupid mistakes on the MC, and I skipped 2, but I'm hoping for no more than 7 wrong (since that's how many I got wrong on the PR practice test without checking my answers).

The test, on the whole, was way easier than I anticipated. I remember sitting in my seat after I finished my FRQs and stupidly grinning at my neighbor because he had finished early too. The finishing early thing might come back to bite me, though.

yeah does anyone know why they give you a green insert when the questions are on the answer sheet?

so if the lines started right after e then where were f and g?!
