Post-AP Chemistry thread.

The right kinds of pictures...or squirrels and cute little forest animals, as my friend did on the Bio test?

I think I garunteed myself a 4 -- maybe I'll get a 5 if I'm lucky. The arithmatic was easy -- I was actually hoping for that type of math because it's safer than conceptual things (for me at least). Part A was a bit tricky, but part B was simple. I've gotten a 5 on both practice tests we took in class (but by a small margin on each); hopefully I can have another repeat.

Wow that test was so easy. The arithmetic is so easy if you just put everything into scientific notation. That really helps. Im so suprised the free response were as easy as they were. Not a single one i didnt know. I was expecting to come in not knowing any reactions or the lab but for some reason they gave easy ones. That was a nice start to a day filled with AP tests (psych too).

They were just small doodles on the bottom edge of the page~ I circled all of my official answers and stuff so it shouldn't do any harm.

MC wasn't too bad. One question took me forever because I couldn't find the fastest way to crunch the numbers. It was a somewhat tricky question to begin with and although the calculation wasn't too bad, the question shouldn't have been on MC.

Part A was easy. #4 was also easy. I bombed #5, 4 pts max if I'm lucky. 6 was easy except many people didn't even see 6f)

Did number 6 go to f or g?

Er, there were part f on #6? o_O

Okay, forget about making a 5. I'll be extremely lucky to get a 4. =|

It wasn't that bad. I'm pretty sure i missed at most 7-9 MC and like 5 points total on the FR.

Plus, on all the Practice Tests I took (even the ones for class), i got a mid- to upper-range 5.

Yeah... what's up with 6f? I didn't even know that was there.
If noticeable amount of people left it blank cuz they didn't see it, something has to happen.

and there aren't possibly two tests, right.

Did anyone else think it was hard?
Some of the FR questions really had me thinking outside the box (that variable question, anyone?).
I guess my frustration just draws on the fact that I can't divide decimals.
The only easy part were the equations.

I thought some of it was tricky~ Like keeping the units consistent. I'm so glad i caught those XD

Yea, the equation was easy, I think it's my point earner, that and the first FRQ.
The MC was okay, except there were some random questions...

MC was easy, FR was a breeze
BTW question 6 went all the way up to g

Overall it wasn't that bad, but I did get annoied with all those decimal calculations on the MC. Although, I think I made the mistake of leaving too many blank on the MC, but hopefully the ones I did are mostly right. I made some really stupid mistakes on the FRQ and there was one problem I didn't really recognize. Anyways, if you anybody has forgotten the curve in the Chemistry is VERY generous. That's why I'm not THAT worried. I mean you can get 1/3 of the whole test right and still get a 3. I'm not sure, but probably half or 2/3 of the test right is a 5.

It was awful. I skipped at least 20 MC...barely did any of the FR. My teacher just really didn't prepare us for it at all...no electrochem or anything, so I got screwed big time. My school also didn't help me out by making our prom last night. So I got home at 3 AM and didn't even get to cram.

Such a shame since I feel I did really well on bio and USH!

Anyone else thinking about cancelling their chem score? =)

you paid 80 bucks so you might as well just hope for a 3 at least. a 3 is like 40 % on the test.

Actually, had to pay less than $15. Our school got a grant to pay for AP tests!

It's not 40% it's less than that for sure.

im praying for a 3.....
teacher sucked and i skipped like 30 m/c.....
if i got about half on FRQ, would i still get a 3?

half the FRQ is possibly a 4, and also taking into consideration the MC
