Ours stats are pretty similar,I was waitlisted at UCSD too, but accepted at UCSB.

I’ll cross my fingers for both us. :)

@Dubdoox3 how on earth do you have a 3.26 UW and a 4.96 W? Just out of curiosity

Waiting: UCI, UCLA, Occidental College, Berkeley, Santa Clara, Wisconsin

Don’t loose faith! If you don’t get accepted, you can always be waitlisted (which was me!) or appeal the rejection! I know its nerve racking but just try to relax.

@moonstars What does it mean to appeal a rejection?

@rachi4rach If you are rejected from UCI, and you feel like it was unfair or you should have gotten in, you can appeal. Its called “appeal selection decision” ([Appeal Information](<a href=“Academic Resources | Office of Undergraduate Admissions | UCI”>Academic Resources | Office of Undergraduate Admissions | UCI))

Some people get in from doing it, some people don’t. But its worth a try if you really want to go to UCI.

Just make sure you have some new info that actually has a reasonable chance of affecting your decision, otherwise you’re just wasting your own time.

weighted gpa (3.3-3.4ish) :frowning:

@ladoo786 our weighted GPA system is out of 6.0, not 5.0, so basically, an A is 6 points, a B is 5, a C is 4, so on and so forth, get it?

@dubdoox3 Our school has the same system (I have a 4.96 W and 4.35 W)
