Post Your Winter 2009 Schedule!

looks good to me.

general advice for the future: take stats 10 before 100a, get davis for stats 10, avoid mcauliffe for 100a. if you have not taken ls 15 yet, get phelan. do not save any of your pre-psych reqs for spring quarter soph year- aim to be done by winter of that year just for the flexibility. also, once you are done with psych 10, there are a couple of upperdivs (such as 127, when you have junior standing) that you can take, if you want to get a headstart on those. take anthro 7 instead of 12, as i believe it is easier.

i've heard interesting stories about philosophy 7... such as it not being the class it is supposed to be and focusing solely on the question of whether or not god exists... i don't remember who that prof was. i waited til last spring quarter and took philosophy 8 with smith- very good class, and IMO more relevant to psych. so i guess, try it out if you don't mind the 9am time, but don't feel bad about dropping it if you don't like how it's going... you have plenty of time to fill your philosophy requirement. oh i was also briefly enrolled in phil 21... wouldn't recommend it by any means.

****ing bastard, die in hell

^ case in point ;)

How hard is the workload of these classes?

Chem 20BH
Chem 20L
Math 32B or 33A (can we do 33A first before 32B and is this recommended??)
GE

when does your priority appt suppose to show up on ursa?

It's been up since yesterday.

Really? I'm in this peer advising program, and I emailed the people and they said they got their info in late.. and that it'd show up today.. but still nothing :/. i'll call tomorrow..

HEY GUYS :)
My schedule is gunna be:
chem 20b (prolly with scerri again XD)
chem 20al (dont know if i should go with walsh or pang)
math 31b (prolly brown)
Either a GE (any suggestions) or LS1

for 20 al i suggest you avoid pang, the common saying goes: "johnny pang is a pang in the butt!" the guy's been on probation for failing too many students and makes the class super hard (my roommate (who does better than me in every class) had him and he only got a B+, and i got an A taking Gould) i don't really know about walsh but try to stay away from pang

Peabee, my schedule looks exactly like yours, and I have the same professors in mind as well.

I still have to research the GE suggestions from the guys across my hall (Hi MrSpam!). They suggested LING 1, SOCIOL 1, MCD BIO 60, MUS HST 75, and POL SCI 40.

I just realized something. Peabee, do you happen to be the banned giveupliar?

thinking about taking:

CSM151B
CS111
CS181

anyone think this is a balanced schedule? too many projects at one time? i might switch CSM151B with 2 other classes but i don't want to miss out on reinman..

eh3322, im takin mcdb 60 now. its a pretty chill GE, but im sure theres better.

I won't deny it. It made you come back to CC, did it not? :) <3
