Postponed...chances of getting accepted?

I was postponed back in December. I was fairly surprised, because I thought I had a very good chance of getting into UW. How hard is it to get accepted after being postponed? What do you think about my chances? I am Out of State btw. (CT)

GPA- 3.85 unweighted, 3.95 weighted

I got about an average of a 3.7 unweighted (4.0 weighted) GPA for my 1st semester this year. Will this help?

SAT- Math 680, Writing 610, Reading 610

Fairly strong recommendations/essays.

Played Varsity soccer for 2 years.

Quality charity experience. (Special Olympics, youth sports camp)

Only major problem is my lack of honors/AP classes. I've taken a total of about 8 honors and currently taking 1 AP.

Thanks in advance.

40%-60% range. Fall grades are good but below your average range.

If you really want to attend UW then write a letter to your advisor telling them why you want to attend UW. Your stats are in the acceptable range. Good luck

When do the postponed applicants typically hear back? Closer to the March deadline or could it be any day?

I’m worried too !

I applied late september or early october and got my decision today.

They postponed a decision on my application.
My GPA is 3.8 and I applied as a transfer for sophomore year Fall 2012.

Maybe we will hear back late february or early march???
Because I am really worried and hopefully we all get in !
