PR ACT book helpful?

anyone that has it, is it helpful?

I got the red book, but it is mainly just tests..... no tips, real strategies, or what to exactly study.

Yeah, it has a really good overview of the test and the strategies helped me a lot. It's a great book to use with the red book.

which book's practice tests are the best? i know the red book is the best, but they only give you 3 practice tests, and i've done 2 already, and want to do the last one before the Oct. ACT to see how much i get improved.

PR's tests are the best ones. When I came on this forum pretty much everyone recommended red book plus PR.

yes, PR is a very good one

but watch out for PR reading... i recommend Kaplan or the Real ACT book for reading

My daughter liked PR except she did not like the tips for the reading section (her reading score actually dropped following the reading tips).
