Hi everyone. I’m an incoming freshman and I’m wondering what Pre-AP classes would be the best for me to take. I am definitely planning on taking Pre-AP English 1, Pre-AP IPC, Pre-AP World Geography, Pre-AP Spanish II, and Pre-AP Biology (yes we can take IPC and Biology at the same time) however I am stuck on the matter of taking Pre-AP Geometry. For me a B in a Pre-AP class in acceptable, albeit a B in a Magnet class (I attend a Vanguard school focused on medicine) is not. Many people are saying that in this school Pre-AP Geometry is extremely difficult so I’m worried I might get a C in this class seeing as mathematics isn’t my best subject. However I do think that I can get an A or a B in a normal Magnet Geometry class.
So getting to the point (sorry for the long post), should I take Pre-AP Geometry because 6 Pre-AP classes in freshman year would look nice on my high school transcript or should I take the safe route and go with 5 Pre-AP classes?
Thank you so much!
