Unless FSU’s callbacks are much later this weekend, I do not think they have time, at least on Saturday. Daughter’s audition time is 2:30 EST. Info email has individual auditions scheduled until 5 with no mention of a callback.
Submitted Montclair in late November…heard academic results in December…but still haven’t heard about theatre. I know many people are hearing back…anyone have an update?

I’m with you! We started off with a huge list. In the beginning, as schools got “crossed off,” I took it in stride thinking that there were still a bunch more to hear from. But as the working list gets smaller and smaller, each “no” feels bigger. But, hey… there are still a bunch more to hear from…

I’m very confused about Montclair. We are in the same situation with MT. Academic acceptance in December and we uploaded a digital audition. The portal shows several green check marks for received and 2 letters - 1 for academic acceptance and 1 for out of state tuition acceptance. No updates. Has anyone who submitted a digital audition had a callback?
My daughter did not have two call backs. She passed the prescreen and then had a virtual audition and had to submit the dance video in advance of the audition. The auditions were back to back last weekend for FSU. No additional call backs or holds.

so there should be a letter as to whether you are accepted into the major you requested. that let’s you know if it is an artistic acceptance or not.

Thank you! They sure keep me busy! Unfortunately these days it’s all soccer and no theater. Her letter still says undeclared and that they will update the decision letter once they receive results on audition. I guess we still wait!
Mine says my artistic videos are still under review and I will revive an update when they have decided. I got that in December- is anyone else in the same boat?

My son is in same boat.
Where does it say they are under review? Hers just have green checks for received.
Actually mine green checks are received and the letter says accepted as undeclared pending artistic review.

We also started with a huge list, and it kept getting smaller and smaller as another door closed. One audition left and one prescreen still to hear from and then we wait. Thankfully we got an acceptance at one of her top choices for MT so she ended up canceling some auditions to give herself a bit of a break. It has been intense.
yes congratulations on BOCO that was HUGE! And it is a great reminder that kids should definitely let their other schools know when they do make a decision, or at least realize they have a better offer and don’t want to still consider another school. That spot is someone else’s door opening!

Our letter still says “You have been admitted Undeclared based on the strength of your academic record. Once we have received the results of your audition or portfolio review, you will receive an updated decision letter regarding your admission to the College of the Arts. Admission to College of the Arts is highly competitive. To ensure prime consideration to your program of choice, you should complete your audition or portfolio review as soon as possible.” so confusing.

not sure if you saw the posts on here yesterday.
Open the Decision letter, even if it says it’s from Nov or Dec…it may be changed.

My daughter got a BFA MT acceptance yesterday. I didn’t realize how much it was weighing on me until we received that news! It is such a relief! At least she is going to college. Hopefully there will be more offers. She still has 4 auditions and one callback left.

have you asked them about this (BW)? We have not but it’s getting close tot he date where she would have had it.
