<p>Lifeofsolitude, rejections are sometimes a blessing in disguise. My D got some painful rejections last year, and in retrospect, I do not think she would have been nearly as happy at those places as she is now. Everything is going to be ok.</p>

<p>Yes- email from the admissions rep for Jazz titled âNEC Prescreening decisionâ goes on and mentions there is no hard copy that is sent. </p>
<p>If you are waiting- I think they may send based on audition dates? Feb 5th is the Jazz Piano date so makes sense they would send around this time.</p>
<p>Thanks everyone, as S explained to his sister just home from college- now he starts all over! It will be quite a juggle this winter/spring between school, auditions and festivals.</p>

<p>Passed the portfolio screenings for both IU Recording Arts and UMich Performing Arts Technology! Iâll have interviews in January and February respectively.</p>

<p>S received word that he passed the Oberlin prescreen for jazz trumpet this afternoon. He (and we) are very excited!</p>

<p>S has passed prescreen for MSM, Oberlin and SFCM for classical voice. Turned down at CCM and NEC, but CCM app was late and was pretty much turned down immediately. Had permission to turn it in late, but wish we had save that application fee!</p>

<p>I got the news that I passed Rice pre-screening for voice today!! Iâm so excited! Itâs my top choice. I had an interview with an alum the other night, and everything I have heard and read about Rice seems like it would be a perfect fit for me. Does anybody know if you can pass prescreening but still get denied to the University?</p>
