<p>I don’t believe that anyone in an admissions office was working today! Many will not be open at all this week.</p>
<p>Sorry to be so clueless but I have the same question others have had but hasn’t been answered. Did Rice send emails if they were denying an audition or did they just send emails out to people who got an audition? Also, do they send out emails by your requested audition date or do they send them out all at once? Last question is for those that did not get an audition, did your status on Esther change? Thank you so much for answering these questions. I will feel so much better when I just know.</p>
<p>Some of the Rice notifications depend on the studio (ie. flute, violin, voice…). I know it is dependant on when those professors listen to the pre-screens. Some are quicker, and some just have way more than others.</p>
<p>Yeah I haven’t received anything from Rice. If I got rejected I’d still like an email confirming it. </p>

<p>I have been reading all the posts and congrats to everyone whether you got an audition or not. This all last few months has been such an eye opening experience into the life of a senior. Your hard work to get all the forms in, do a CD or DVD and then wait…is tremendous!!! We have finally started to hear from the schools on our list. </p>
<p>Rice, Oberlin, USC, NAU have all said yes to an audition! Now just 2 more to wait for- Curtis & CCM.</p>

<p>A year ago, I was the parent watching their child go thru all of this. You all have greatest sympathy. All I can say, is that by the end of it, my mail carrier was certain that we were stalking him as we leapt out of the house each day as he was approaching! You are not alone!</p>

<p>I agree with flute1298: Hang in there. It is a crazy time. I wish I could say that my D and I had fond memories of it all but we found it incredibly stressful. It helped to remember this: No matter what happens, Everything is going to be OK.</p>
<p>Hi, I’ve sent in prescreenings to mannes, nyu and boston university, all for classical voice undergrad…I received a rejection from mannes this morning and its the first reply I’ve had. Has anyone applied to bu or nyu before and know when they generally reply?? And are all the rejections just being sent now or are people still being accepted</p>
<p>OMG! I passed Mannes! I’m so happy!!! So far I have: CIM, SFCM, Mannes. Still waiting on Rice, UNCC, Peabody, NEC, Northwestern, UCLA :)</p>
