Ahhh I'm gonna be a junior member forever!

if you added up my posts from last time i'm sure i'd have 1500+ total (maybe 1580 or 1600? what do you think my chances are?)

I'm a liberal in Texas too. People keep stealing the Kerry signs in front of our house...it's pretty immature. However, I've crafted a little trick. I smeared the sides of the sign with fresh dog poo, and on the sign I stapled a note. The note says: "Hey Republican *******, your hands now smell like your politics."

Classic. Yeah, random strangers keep putting Bush/Cheney friends in two of my best friends' yards, despite (or perhaps because of) the fact they're diehard liberals. It's quite funny, actually. I may have to take your idea and alter it to fit their situation, hehe

Or the passerby may just think that even the dogs in Texas know Kerry is full of ****...

Just kidding, I promise......could not resist... :)

EncomiumII, lol!
I don't know about your chances...did you cure cancer recently?

but yea, I would have like 2000 if they added from the old forum.

Zant, 2000/1600 = pretty good chances, I'd say

Haha, that was pretty good Kebree.

ahh yes, but it's all random isn't it?

Thanks, Bokonon...so was yours :) Yard sign-stealing is a problem here, too..
I love being able to joke w/ liberals! This is different...all but a few of the liberals I know are militant...(i.e. "Bush is a traitor and should be jailed [if not crucified], Laura Bush is a robot, John Kerry is God, and Teresa Kerry should be instated as the new 'Mother Theresa'")
I know that you've probably found that a lot of Tex. conservatives are militant, too...

lol, good thing about new york.
No yards = no yard-sign stealing.
All we have are pins =)

Yay for pins..that's what I have, too (though I do have a yard sign as well).

A couple of my male friends have Kerry sign burning parties - they go out at night, steal all the Kerry signs from a particularly liberal block, and burn them in the street in one of the houses' garbage cans, then repeat. One time, I guess they made the mistake of using a plastic garbage can and it melted onto the street pavement!

It's funny, but it's also pretty immature + reflects badly on Republicans in general. So it's nice to know sign shinanigans (sp?) aren't just a conservative thing.

MI in general seems to have a good mix of liberal/conservative, but the city I live is a pretty old money, heavily conservative (borderline reactionary) area. (Although by no means is my family rich!) It makes for an interesting situation, since it borders Detroit.

that is stupid...and they hope to help win votes? Sign stealing is wrong whenever it's done...those cost money, too...what a waste.
Here it's usually the Bush/Cheney signs that disappear and the houses w/ Bush/Cheney signs that get vandalized....a day before I put our sign out, all the cars in my neighborhood with BC '04 stickers got their windows smashed in.

Wow, check out Princeton's post count vs. the other ivies'...insane...

Go, Tigers!

yea seriously, this thread alone is on page 21! w00t

I know, the post count is out-of-control (but in a good way).

this thread is out of control. its 21 pages damn
