I absolutely LOVE the idea of eating clubs; but honestly, if I didn't end up at Princeton I would probably be a sorority girl (that sounds really sad when written down but it's true!) so eating clubs are just my replacement. I like the idea of bicker, actually, but I'd worry so much about not making it!

zantedeschia - I definitely want to go into corporate global law, too! For a long time I wanted to go into journalism, until I realized how little they make for the amount of hours they spend. At least in law, you're compensated reasonably. And also, I want to live in Europe - get me out of the States already!

oh, EncomiumII, for my favorite recording, I put the "parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme' album by simon and garfunkel. I think you could probably put down three if you could just pick one to cut. Roll the dice to pick the one - you know if you get a bad feeling in your gut about cutting it then it's probably not the one to cut!

I hated them at first and (during my "I love Yale" stage) I used to make fun of Princeton for having them. However, I actually went to their web pages and talked to some people, and I think it's good that there's that social option available. Whether I would join one (notice the conditional form of the verb "to join" noting a hypothetical action, lol) remains to be seen, but I think I might like to.

they are like king like little organizations but there are like 11 or 12 eating clubs and each has its own small mansion. they are like residential communities or say they are more like a country club membership. but you can go to these homes/clubs to hang out, chill, but mainly eat. at these places this is where you eat. my brother is in the most expensive one where they occasionally have sushi and lobster and scampi shrimp and what not. sometimes they surprise you with crazy awesome yummy food

Do you think it will kill me that I don't have any AP's/AP tests? I'm in 4 college courses right now, but other than that I haven't had any classes that were technically AP (my classes in highschool were as difficult, according to a few people who did both, but it's still not on the transcript). I'm filling out the app and there is a big blank section where the AP tests are supposed to go....

Kebree, I don't have any APs either...though I do have IBs. Does your school offer APs? If it does, than not taking them will definitely hurt you. But, if you school doesn't off APs, there is little that you can do...and you seem to be doing what you can by taking college courses.

no as long as u have challenged urself its fine. since we have many APs at our school i have never taken a college course and always take APs but if u dont have APs and u have taken many college courses go you

No...my school (a really small one...18 ppl in my class) didn't offer them, though we always used the AP textbooks and the AP level midterm and chapter exams. It's sort of annoying that it doesn't count as AP, now that I think of it...I guess it couldn't since there weren't 'regular' level classes.

Maybe I'll mention on my app that 3 people out of 18 are NMSC semifinalists...that might show that the courses were actually hard...
