I did not get this email, although I did not apply for aid. Anyone else?
Didn’t get the email. I applied for Financial Aid and think I turned in all my documents.
Not an email but i had communicated with F.A office long time ago and confirmed that they had everything needed
@ronniecat - Thanks! Hopefully we both got it because they’re calculating our packages for our acceptances right now A girl can dream…
Did anyone get the email that did not apply for Financial Aid
No email. I applied for FA
@ronniecat @glasshours Hopefully we all hear good news. When you do hear the results, can you post them on here so people in future years know if the emails mean anything?
I applied for FA, but all my info is in
The comense tells me it is a good indication among more than 30000 applications to process. I totally agree @APersonsHistory: post your final decision from P to help future applicants.
I do want to bring up a thread (though it was 11 years ago) in which some applicants were contacted about financial aid forms by Princeton late in the application process, but didn’t get in.
From what I took away from the thread, the email probably doesn’t indicate much about acceptance.
CC existed 11 years ago?!? Wow
I would not base anything on the 11 year ago thread. Anything about last year? What about for others that did not apply for FA – did you receive the email?
P’s decision is based on your credits which they want or not, not the FA issue.
i want coconut syrup with my waffles
I know that, but I was wondering if there was a correlation between the email and acceptance. They sent the email to people that already submitted their FA stuff, so I am wondering if they did it to the people that aren’t applying for FA as well
@TheWaffleMan149 it is very much possible that they just forgot something. There are a lot of documents to submit for FA and they come at different time (tax stuff). It gets complicated. I think it is more plausible that they just left out a doc than it is anything truly significant.
OKAY HELLO I’M JUST GONNA SAY SOMETHING…HI!
On the application, I replied that my favorite words were “velociraptor” and “spaghettification”.
I hope admissions had a nice laugh.
I did not apply for FA…did fill PFAA anyway ( thought it was mandatory ), and got the confirmation mail from PFAA (with the student #,application # etc)…and emailed all the required tax papers.
I REALLY should’ve said “waffle” or “moose”
I really just wanted to send a word in Turkish that cannot be translated into English. DARN IT.
