@canadianguy123 noo I didn’t apply to ubc… But congrats though!! I’ve heard from my friends that it’s a great school (I don’t know much about schools outside of the US hahaa) anyways, congrats again
did everyone here receive an email about decisions being released on March 31? I haven’t received one yet. Is something wrong?
@clueless96 Yeah I received an email on March 24th at 2 PM ET:
Dear Student,
Admission decisions for applicants to the Princeton Class of 2020 will be available online on March 31, after 5 p.m. EDT.
The address for Princeton’s Application Tracking System to view your decision is https://notify.princeton.edu/. Please enter the username and password you created when you registered earlier for the site. You may wish to bookmark this link ahead of time. Be sure to copy and paste the entire link, and note that it begins with https, rather than http. When you have finished viewing your decision online, be certain to close your browser.
If you have not already registered for the site, please go to https://admissionapp.princeton.edu/uarcd/ to create a username and password. Please be advised that due to the large number of students we anticipate visiting the Application Tracking System site, the registration system will be unavailable from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. EDT on March 31.
You also may receive your admission decision by calling our office between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. EDT beginning April 4.
Thank you for applying to Princeton.

@canadianguy123 could you please post your Admission profile (Like, your scores, activities)? Please do it. 't would be great help.
@clueless96 They send them out in waves and this is a generic email sent to everybody. Some don’t receive it for any number of reasons. Not a cause for worry in the least!
Our scores are all so similar, I think re-posting them over and over just shows that everyone here is at or near the top. The ACT scores are only going to vary a couple points, and the SAT scores by a 100 or so. GPAs are going to tell a similar story. I would be more interested to see the status of where students have been accepted, waitlisted, and rejected. Each college is going to have different admissions criteria, but I’m curious as to who gets accepted to an Ivy League school, but got Waitlisted or Rejected at a school that typically has a 25% acceptance rate, or even higher. Would like to see if admission to other schools can be used as a barometer for schools like HYP and others.
@Goober99 I have a friend who was admitted to three top 20 (non-Ivy) universities but waitilisted by Case Western (30+% acceptance rate).

Don’t think I have the stats needed for Princeton…
Why international students usually get accepted to 1 or 2 school? I mean do admission officers know which university international students already got into ?
I know it’s not correct for US students, but don’t you think it’s different for internationals ?
