Princeton University Class of 2023 SCEA Applicants Thread

@djhope Thank you, and best of luck!

Hi, for those who filled out the css profile was the award date listed for Princeton the same as the date they officially emailed to all of you?

SCEA will be out December 12! Email confirmed by Princeton

Hows everyone’s stats? My counselor didn’t get any call from Princeton also. is this a bad sign?

anyone get an incomplete financial aid email?

I got one like 2 weeks ago.

what do you mean by incomplete financial aid email?

I’m so nervous!! AAAAAHHHHHHH good luck to everyone! <3

ahhhhhh my heart starts beating so fast when I think about opening decisions!! Good luck everyone, y’all are going to do amazing things no matter where you go

This upcoming decision has made me so stressed out I can barely focus on my school work lol…I’m incredibly nervous…maybe to take our mind off the decision, should we share what we intend to study (in college in general, not just Princeton)? I plan on majoring in mathematics.

@LincolnsGF I agree! I’ve been so nervous these past few days. I plan on majoring in chemical or biomedical engineering.

I plan on majoring in Electrical engineering but I still might change that to another engineering major. The decision date seems sooooooo far…

Molecular Biology (going into med school). I know. I’m screwed lol.

Lol I was so nervous for my last SAT imagine how nerve racking clicking the update link is gonna be.

I go to a tiny, rural high school with less than three hundred students, where there isn’t a single AP or IB class offered… Hopefully this doesn’t hurt my chances of being accepted. I’m hoping that being from such a small town and being the first student from there to ever have a chance of getting into an Ivy League school will help me.

You guys should watch “‘ACCEPTANCE’ - Ivy League Admissions Movie” on YouTube. Here’s the link:

I plan to study Computer Science, specifically in the BSE program. Good luck to everyone!

@xmas19 Colleges definitely try to level the playing field. Almost every information session that I’ve been to says that they know that all schools are different and they can’t obviously have expected you to take APs if your school doesn’t offer it. As long as you’ve taken the hardest classes your school offers and/or taken advantage of any resources/experiences within your reach, then you should be good. Princeton is incredibly hard to get into and qualified people will get rejected, but I wish you (and everyone else in this thread) the best of luck!

just a quick question, is it safe to assume that since Princeton accepts more people in state, it makes it (relatively) easier to get in if one is from NJ?
